A few weeks ago, we received proofs from our photographer Shane Kelly. We have finally added some of them to our photo album on the Professional Photos page. They include pictures of Tara and her bridesmaids getting ready at her room at the Ramada, the wedding ceremony, family and bridal party at Bowring Park and just the bridal party at Cape Spear. By now, all of you who came to the wedding should have received your thank you card from us. On the front of the card is one of our pictures taken at Cape Spear by our photographer Shane Kelly. As it says inside, you made our day! For one last time, we would like to thank every one very much for coming to our wedding and your generous gifts. It was great to see our closest friends and family and celebrating our special day with all of you together. Our only regret was not able to spend as much time with each of you as much as we would have liked. I guess we could only do so much in one day!

We're back from our honeymoon! Just like our wedding day, we were lucky with the weather. Our ship just missed two hurricanes and they didn't affect us at all. It was sunny, hot and water was calm. In the Bahamas, we took a tour of the Atlantis resort. In both St. Thomas and St. Martin, we took island bus tours and went to the beach. Onboard the ship, we enjoyed breakfast and lunch buffets everyday, three course fine dining every night followed by entertainment in the theatre. When returned to Miami, we stayed in South Beach for a couple nights. We went to the Lincoln Road Mall, walked down Ocean Drive and lay out on South Beach on Labour Day. It was a great trip but we're glad to be home. Check out pictures in our photo album!

We're now on our cruise ship, the Carnival Valor and sailing somewhere in the Carribbean. We left St. John's 5:00 am yesterday morning, stopped in Toronto for a couple hours, arrived in Miami 1:00 pm and stayed the night at the Hilton Downtown, where we had a beautiful view of the city. While in town we did some sightseeing and checked out Bayside, a popular outdoor mall in downtown Miami. Today we were most of the afternoon at the Port of Miami waiting in line to check in and board the ship. Once aboard, we had supper and took in a show in the theatre. Tomorrow we stop in Nassau Bahamas, where we will take a tour of Atlantis resort and a boat tour of the area. We will add pictures to the Photo Album as soon as we get a chance.

It's been almost a week since the wedding but I finally added some wedding pictures to our Photo Album. As you will see in the side menu, it is broken up into three pages. The Wedding Day pictures covers everything from the guys decorating cars that morning, to getting ready at my house, the church ceremony at Bethesda, picture taking in Bowring Park, Cape Spear and the reception at Ramada. The Wedding Rehearsal is pictures from the night before the wedding when the bridal party had a BBQ at my house and rehearsal at the church. Tara and Troy are older pictures of Tara and I since we met. Special thanks to Sheila Smith for most of the photos from the Wedding. She took over 1000 photos that day! It was a big help to have someone clicking away all day. We will post the professional photos from Shane Kelly when we get them in a few weeks.
